About MAPPI AMERICA

MAPPI INTERNATIONAL Stop buying furnaces. Start investing. MAPPI International designs and manufactures glass tempering furnaces in Italy. That sentence describes what we build. It does not describe what we sell. What we sell is production capacity measured across decades, not across a delivery date. A tempering furnace is not a machine that a glass processor buys once and depreciates quietly. It is the single asset that determines throughput, energy cost per square metre, optical quality and, ultimately, which contracts a processor can bid for and win. MAPPI builds furnaces on that premise, and asks customers to evaluate them on that premise. The evidence is straightforward. A MAPPI furnace installed in 1996 is still in production today — thirty years of operational life, not thirty years of ownership. Across the world, more than 400 MAPPI installations are running in architectural, automotive, appliance and specialty glass plants. Those numbers are not a marketing claim about the past. They are the return profile of the investment we are asking a processor to make. Continuous operation: the technical foundation Most tempering furnaces stop. They stop between batches. They stop when glass thickness changes. They stop to rebalance a recipe. Each stop is heat lost and paid for twice — once to cool down, once to bring the chamber back to temperature — and production time that cannot be recovered. MAPPI furnaces are engineered to run continuously. The furnace processes consecutive batches and changes glass thickness without interrupting the cycle. The commercial consequence compounds every single working day of the furnace's life: energy that is never spent, and hours that are never lost. [Over the operational life of the furnace this represents 66+ working days of energy saved — figura da confermare] This capability rests on integrated systems rather than a single component. The MHS Multizone Heating System governs heat distribution across independently controlled zones. The ESS Energy Saving System manages consumption across the cycle. AC Advanced Cooling and DC-motor ventilation control the quenching phase with the precision that thin and coated glass demands. The SYNCRO transmission maintains movement accuracy through the chamber. A Siemens PLC architecture runs the process, with MEC and MEC Inspector providing recipe management and quality control, and Tab Service enabling remote monitoring and diagnostic support from Italy. For processors working in fire-resistant applications, the Supertemper option extends the furnace to E30-classified glass. A range built by application, not by price point FOX EVO — the accessible entry to MAPPI technology, up to 1500×3200 mm. Built for processors establishing or consolidating tempering capacity in-house. ATS LINE — five formats from 1800×3000 mm to 2500×5000 mm. The core of the range, covering the majority of architectural and industrial production requirements. MTH Monolith — large format, from 2500×6000 mm to 3300×6000 mm. For processors serving façade, structural and oversize architectural glazing. Each line occupies a distinct position. We do not ask a customer to buy more furnace than the work requires, and we do not sell a furnace that will constrain the work within five years. The company MAPPI is led by CEO Nancy Mammaro, who also serves as President of GIMAV, the Italian association of glass processing machinery manufacturers. The company is part of the Voilàp Group, an industrial group operating across machinery, digital technology and industrial software — a structure that gives MAPPI engineering depth and long-term stability that an independent manufacturer of comparable size could not sustain. Manufacturing, engineering and testing remain in Italy. Service is delivered through direct technical support and remote diagnostics, because a furnace that runs for thirty years needs a manufacturer that will still be answering the phone in year twenty-nine. At GlassBuild America We are here to talk about the number that matters: not the price on the quotation, but the cost per square metre tempered over the life of the asset. Bring us your production data and we will run it against ours. MAPPI International S.r.l. — Voilàp Group
