Li-Ion Locker

Li-Locker is a lithium-ion battery safety technology developed with support from the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) to make the transport and storage of Li-ion batteries safer. The system continuously monitors batteries when they are most vulnerable and least observed: in transit, in storage, and dormant between uses. Using integrated sensing, Li-Locker identifies battery failure indicators at their earliest stages. Alerts go immediately to on-site personnel and to stakeholders anywhere in the world, enabling a timely response that protects people, property and operations. A real-time dashboard shows how an event is developing, and detailed reporting documents conditions over time to support compliance, risk management and insurance discussions. Serving warehouses, fleet operators, logistics providers, manufacturers, recyclers, drone operators, and more, Li-Locker delivers around-the-clock early warning, giving organizations a watchful eye that never clocks out.
