The NoLabel® Icon replaces traditional print-and-apply labeling by printing variable information directly onto corrugated packaging. Its integrated black + white printing is especially important for GS1 Sunrise, allowing the system to print a white background directly onto brown corrugated and then print the barcode, 2D code, text and other variable information over it. Powered by GSI’s Aurora software, NoLabel® Icon can dynamically manage variable production data and determine when an application requires black-only or black + white printing . With up to 4.26 inches (108 mm) of print height , the system provides the flexibility required for changing SKUs, barcode locations and packaging configurations. Eliminating labels can also mean eliminating label inventory, applicators, backing waste and many of the costs and maintenance requirements associated with traditional print-and-apply systems.
